Default I love my Warrior....

My second year of ownership, well, two years as of August this year, and of course an extensive OFF season due to a horrible extended Winter (still pissed about it!) I am really starting to bond with this bike.

I had some quirks to work out..most of it was from the bike being not ridden much over the years (3800mi)..but now with the new tires, Ivanized ECM, synthetic oil, multiple cans of Seafoam, NGK, Iridium plugs, full synthetic oil.. multiple polish jobs (Turtle Wax 'Ice' spray wax)...stock pipe put back on... man she is running GREAT, and looks AWESOME...such a good looking bike...the 06' red with the stripes on the tank is just so cool..and that Ice wax (really recommend it) brings out a color in that red paint that is so illusive...beautiful paint, beautiful bike...

I really love the suspension, how you can dial it in for your weight and riding style, the brakes, and the way it handles, especially with that Avon XM 3D rear tire...dragging pegs with confidence is SIMPLE...snapping to pass cars...simple... and of course the power... totally happy with the 5th gear rolls on...too fun.. Pass most things with retaliative ease. Lastly, I really love the stock pipe...seriously, it's breaking in and the bike as a VERY good sound...deep, and punchy (especially when warmed up)...very unique sounding not too loud, just right...great sounding bike!

It's gonna be a great Summer!

I've put over 110,000 miles on the 3 Warriors that I've owned and I still feel basically the same way you do. The Warriors make me smile inside . And, I actually just put the stock exhaust back on one of mine today!

Hey Bruce59, I see you took off the roadhouse-any chance you would consider selling it? Love the pipe-and agree with you guys about these warriors, great bikes, the whole package! I like changing thinks up, doing mods, going for a spin to the mountains (San Diego style) on a perfectly tuned bike. PM me if you want to get rid of the roadhouse, I have one I rode till it fell apart-(Inside). Ride on!

Rumblemonkey - Actually the orange bike is a second Warrior I have and still has the Roadhouse pipe on it. Do you still have the cannister? I bought a second baffle and although I'm not willing to give it up, might use as a pattern to mock up new one. Have to post a gratuitous pic of my bike back to stock pipe!

Thanks for the thought- I have a couple of baffles that could be used to mock something up. If you ever want to get rid of it...Great looking bike! I have never ridden one with the stock can on it!

When I first bought my Warrior last year it had V&H Longshots...or something l like that. HATED how loud it was, and it really didn't run that well. Put the stock pipe back on, had the ECM reflashed and it was a different bike. Smoother, more top end and most importantly; quieter. Now, over 2K miles more the bike runs even better (thinking it's breaking in more, only had 3800mi) The pipe's baffles are loosening up somewhat and the bike has a more pronounced, deep sound that pops with just the right note...(deep and throaty) I actually LOVE the way the bike sounds...and the sound all emanates from one pipe... It has gotten louder too... Love this bike!
