Default My bike thought it was funny to play dead

This happen yesterday. Moved the bike forward a couple feet as I always do then it decided to roll over and play dead when I walked away. LMAO

I didn't realize I was stepping on the strap that is tied on the kickstand and it pulled it up. I set the bike back on its side and it stood up for a couple seconds then started to roll over slowly. Luckily I have crash bars and also did neck stop wheel weight spacers to limit the bar turning ratio. This could have been worse.
I need to fix this dent which is almost creased.

So much for my new tank that didn't have a scratch on it.

Couple questions.
How good has anyone did a color match on these original paint jobs?
What's a good paintless dent repair tool and has anyone used one for something like this?

Aha, that was you on facebook.
It sucks but can be fixed, and you have some time now to fix her.
Personally, I am not a big fan of covers, they 'sweat' and cause a lot of rust. Prefer to have my girl in the open, and just spray some silicon on her to protect her from the elements. My bikes have 'lived' their life outside in the elements and still look good after 16 years.

When I saw that on Facebook I almost cried as it hurt me.

Send some pictures to a couple dent removal companies to see what they say as it looks not to easy to pull it out.

Let me know if you need anything.

Yep, that was me. It still needed work on the fender and some other parts but the tank was new old stock so. I got a paintless dent remover kit but I haven't went out to use it. I'll get it done eventually lmao.

Lol, yeah huh. But I think it was showing me i can roll it over to adjust the shock or work under it without a jack lol. The crash bars saved it as the clutch lever hit the tank. I'll tilt the lever up some just for the **** of it.
