Default Wonít start

2005, has aftermarket tail / brake lights. I know about the COD. The old beast has been sitting for awhile, Iíve bought a house and moved and havenít had time to mess with it. Anyways, last time I had it out, last summer, it was running rough, felt like it was missing, then would run fine, then feel like it was missing again.
Finally messing with it today and it cranks but after a few cranks the check engine light flashes. Iíve searched and checked old topics and canít seem to figure it out. Battery has good charge. Iím trying to get the manual to redownload on my laptop but itís being finicky.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a dying battery.

But since it has been sitting a bit I would go over the battery connections make sure they are clean and that the wires look and feel good. Check the ground as that is supper important. A check vacuum hose will make you go crazy looking for it so a good idea is too make sure they look good and all caps are on. I would also check the gas, drain and refill with fresh non-ethanol since its been a bit. Check your battery
