I am having my tach housing polished and cant get the Select and Reset buttons out. Whats the trick? Also does the black molding come off from below the tach? Any help would be appriciated.

The rubber reset buttons will push out carefully. I pushed buttons from backside pushing buttons out the front of plate. Wedge a screwdriver on top between rubber under silver cap and cover. Pry cap while pushing from underside. Button will eventually push out through top. Winter mods have started - trying to mount 33x12.5x15 for winter riding.

The switches are two pieces each. The plunger which is the center of the button has a silver trim ring around it, pry up on the underside of the trim ring and you will see the switch seperate. Pull it all the way out revealing the bottom half of the switch (where the wires are connected) push that through the dash to remove it. Installation can be a bit tricky. When you reinstall the switch set the bottom half a little higher than the surface of the dash and hold the bottom part while pushing the top half back down by grasping the trim ring and pressing them together. As you push them together let go of the bottom and press the whole switch flush with the dash. Once you have it apart you'll see why this can hang up on you, especially since they aren't so easy to pull apart.

Indy love the new look, are those custom blocks like the ones used in the kickstand mods??? I'm gonna have to try that in carbon fiber. Rpms must be up with those casters, what correction factor are you using on the speedo?
