it was something the german guys said about the metzler last year - the 200 was bad for mileage and grip ...not liked generally in germany anyway - but funnily enough the 240 was a real success particularly on mileage....go figure -

notice i left out the word TYRE prof!! - don't think, i didn't notice that typo a wee while back...shame on you

Thank you Gilly. I corrected it, and also the dimensions using the 2011 Metzeler full catalog. My bad lol.

Thanks Matt.

I added this into the list using data retrieved from the Pirelli website:

Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 240/45ZR-17 82W
. Tire Width: 235mm = 9.25"
. Tire Diameter: 648mm = 25.9"
. Tread Depth: mm = unknown
. Rim Range: 8" - 9" recommended
. Capacity: - 1,047 pounds
. Weight of Tire: not listed

Any idea what the tread depth is on a new tire to the wear bar?

I sent them an email requesting the info and the tread depth was not given. I'll shoot them another email. I figured they would have given me that info.
