Question Ignition Trouble (or ?) Help Needed

Hi from Oz. I am new Warrior owner of 2005. Love it but discovered they have an ignition problem. If the key is not all the way turned it will turn over but not start. Try turn it off then on as far as it goes. Should start. I was told if it cuts out when riding probably need s new switch.

Update. The ignition was replaced but problem remained. It turned out - after much frustration - to be the battery. The terminals had snapped off in the battery. This was discovered after they replaced it for the 2nd time with same problem in a matter of weeks. Now got a better battery in it, no more breakdowns. Still chasing another issue though, posted under Valves.
