Talking Ivan's ECM reflash and pure awesomeness..

Yesterday it FINALLY warmed up enough to get in a decent, enjoyable ride. Last week changed the oil. Yesterday 65 degrees and some time....yeah..

Man I love this bike, I've owned plenty, and even a 2014 Honda Valkyrie 1800 which I still own (insanely great too)...but this Warrior is sooo cool..

I've got it dialed in perfect now...took a couple seasons, and about 4k miles to break it in more (7500mi now..sure this has something to do with this too)

But wow, what a fun bike....very powerful, very fast, comfortable and nimble...luv the way it sounds...

I had Ivan do the standard reflash two Summer's ago and let me tell you...it makes A HUGE difference.... Night and day...there is no way in **** I'd go back to the standard tune..

My bike is STOCK, other then the reflash...and it will stay that way...

Stock exhaust and air box...just NGK Iridium plugs, Castrol 4T full synthetic oil and regular octane gasoline TREATED with Lucas Oil ethanol fuel conditioner.

I just love how it sounds, especially after about 15 minutes at full temperature...it deeply pops indicating good compression...and it HAULS ASS...it would do over 120mph NO PROBLEM...I mean it rockets to 100mph with extreme authority..with tons of throttle left...and yes, with the reflash it builds HP past 5k rpms...noticeable power...

No decel popping at all, so little that I will not even install the block off kit...

The bike runs near perfectly with just the reflash, nothing else really needed imo....

MY only issue is that I need to find the right windscreen. I have the standard Yamaha deflector...which keeps the bugs off me, but the buffeting over 90 rocks my helmet to the point I cannot see clearly enough... so stints over 100mph do not happen often. Not sure what windscreen to get.... This may be a good thing...might live longer by not going so fast...

Agree on the flash, a lot of folks like the boulevard windscreen by Yamaha. Getting hard to find though...

I have the boulevard brackets with a clearview shield. Seems to work the best for me.
