Default WTB: Shock 03+

Mine is 02 with stock shock and what I believe is stock spring too.

I took off the rear wheel and noticed that shock and links require an immediate attention. Links and bolts on shock happened to be very loose, nut sits half on the bolt

Since I do have plans to go wide, I started considering replacing the shock for 03+ that can be easily adjusted + also getting a better spring.
I also noticed that the insert under the rear fender has bare metal from the tire probably scratched it.

Let me know if you got a spare shock. If the shock with stiffer spring - even better.

Thanks fam!

I hoped Iíd receive the shock, install it on the bike, share pics and close this thread - fook no

Not a biggie but lesson learned - shipping insurance and proper payment is a MUST.

Bye shock

You can still make a claim for $50. The post office added free insurance for that amount a few years ago.

Bought another shock (thank you, @rij1 ).

It arrived safely in one piece and with no issues/damage.

But.. the box included this note too:

Obviously USPS has some issues with delivering shocks .

Anyways, Iíll be putting my 02 shock up for sale soon. Pm me if youíre looking for one.
