Default First bike ever!

Hello from British Columbia Canada. Bought my 2004 Warrior last July with 815 kms on it. Then went and got my license at age 45...Lol. Loved how it looked and felt from the very first ride. Have had issues from bad fuel while being stored over the years and still working out the kinks. Hoping to have it running properly this spring. I knew I wasn't a Harley guy or a sports bike guy so this seems like a perfect blend of both worlds. Once I get it running well mechanically I can't wait to start customizing this bike.

Welcome to the Forum from Germany !
Have fun with your ride, post a picture. Ride safe.

PS: wondering that you measure in "kms", not miles ?

Welcome!

A 2004 for only 815km?!? Wow! How was the gas tank... all rusty inside or decent condition? I just restored a different bike that sat for close to 10 years... the tank was minty outside, totally corroded inside.

Don't be afraid to start a new thread to diagnose your issues. If you can be descriptive and factual (and can use punctuation) then the guys on this 4m will have you running like a top in no time!

Bad example: I start da bike it make wizzing noise I don't no but is norm what should I do???

Good example: When I first start the bike I hear a noise coming from the front of the bike, just under the very front of the gas tank, for approximately 45 seconds. It sounds like a vacuum leak, like air being sucked through a tiny hole. Then the noise subsides. Is this normal or something I should investigate?

Welcome from northern lower Michigan, I also purchased the Warrior as my first bike. Was in love with the look and no other bike could come close to it, I was hooked upon the first ride.
