Here's the list of official Yamaha recalls for the Warrior 2002 through 2010, and some potential indicators to help you determine visually if recall work has been done. Having your dealer check with Yamaha using your bike's VIN is the best way to verify recall work. Sometimes there are VIN errors on documents so its a good idea to compare the VIN with the motorcycle neck plate VIN, which lives on the right-side of the frame's steering neck.
When a recall is completed, the dealer is supposed to make a punch mark on your motorcycle's VIN plate, and its possible the dealer performing recall work correctly punched marks onto the VIN plate. Sometimes they forget to punch-mark. So if its marked the recall work is likely done, and if its not marked it might be done and they just forgot to mark the VIN plate. Sometimes there are other clues a recall has been done, like the white dot on the rubber grommet of the CPS harness as it exits the crankcase cover. If you do a search for each of the recalls you'll find lots of info. For example, there's posts discussing the fuel tank mount recall, and ways to be sure it was done. TRANSMISSON RECALL:
Unfortunately, other than a VIN punch-mark, there are no externally-visible indicators of the Transmission recall. THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RECALL: To my knowledge, the orignal TPS and the TPS installed by dealers during the recall campaign visually appear the same. Subsequent to the recall campaign, a newer TPS design came to market that looks different, so it's possible some later TPS recalls got the newer part. I haven't seen any confirmed failures of the TPS design provided during the recall campaign. The newer part appears to be a nicer design so if I were buying a TPS today I would ask for the newer part just because. Hopefully time will prove (Knock-on-Chrome) its a better TPS lol. Throttle Position Sensor: 2002 - 2007: 3P6-85885-00-00 2008 - 2009: 8GL-85885-00-00 Ref: https://www.rswarrior.com/forums/92-...formation.html

And finally, the August 2010 Yamaha accessory 'Fat Double-T Handlebars' a.k.a. 'TT Bars'
recall, which was limited to those manufactured between 8-1-2008 and 7-31-2009: Ref: https://www.rswarrior.com/forums/92-...formation.html I received the recall notice from Yamaha, but my bars were not affected. I think the Part# has always been the same, so that wouldn't be an indicator. For example, when I bought mine, the Yamaha Accessory Part# was: STR-5PX75-12-00, and as of today the Yamaha website shows the same part number. Added 6/29/2019: there may be different part number post-recall and subsequently these bars may be discontinued.
