ok I have to ask this: I'm annoyed by the position of my brake pedal. it's too high! I've taken the adjustment all the way downas low as it will go, and the stupid thing still sits NEXT to my big toe when my foot is at rest. Is it supposed to be this way?

Gishbar Not mutch adjust ment on stock break pedel as to position but after i removed stock peg mounts,an replaced with Harley mounts an KuryAkyn pegs The pedal is wight under my toes real good position, thats all I can say.

Heres the legend:Evil Road Spirits! They love to ride, but they cannot stand bells, and cannot live in the presence of a bell, the constant ringing drives them crazy!they lose their grip and fall off (ever wondered how potholes were formed?) this is how the bell serves its purpose. If you picked up the bell yourself the magic still works, but if the bell is given to you as a gift, the power is doubled. Place the bell on your bike, the closer to the ground the better, dont give those gremlins a chance to climb on board!quote:Originally posted by redbullssg

This may or may not be a dumb question, BUT, what is the bell for?

Had a cursed bell once. Put it on the bike in late September. Got a speeding ticket. Then got hit by a truck. Destroyed the warrior. Took off the bell & set it on my workbench. Started rebuilding another warrior and a grinder cutting blade blew up in my face. Four inch gash along my jaw. Ceremoniously pitched that *&cker in the trash! Gonna get another then have a priest bless it this time.
Nice mod BTW. Sweet.

i have a similiar set up on mine, same pegs but with stirrups,i did mine that way because at the time there were no aftermarket pegs or adaptors available.i reshaped my peg mounts slightly and drilled my adaptors about 1 " foward and 1 " down.this set up has worked well for me for over 2 years.BillH gave me some instructions from his site, and i adjusted to my specs accordingly.
Doc you don't need to paint them mounts about another 20000 miles and they will be so dirt encrusted that they will look black.lol

one other thing i forgot to mention......1 big advantage to doing this mod like Doc did is aftermarket pegs for harleys are typically cheaper and much easier to find,so if you get tired of 1 style its real easy and relatively in expensive to change your pegs. and i as i said most any shops carry the pegs.
the only thing i didn't think about was the spring return, goood idea Doc
