My wife retired from teaching last year (mainly because of COVID) and I'm planning on retiring end of January 2021. She's really nervous about money right now, otherwise I'd snatch these up in a heartbeat. Just imagining three Warriors in my garage gets me all kinds of excited.

Come get em. We will make it $6500 for all of it.
Oh jeez, I wish! But now's not a good time for us. :cautious: Wife just retired and I'm planning to retire at the end of January. We're getting our AC/Heating system replaced this month, so she's really worried about money. As soon as spring comes around, I plan on putting up my '07 VTX1800 for sale. If I can get a decent price, I'm going to be able to start looking more serious for a second (or third :p) Warrior. I'm going to keep a close eye on this posing and see if I'm lucky enough to not see a SOLD update (sorry, don't take this wrong. I'm not wishing bad luck on you selling). I've missed a couple of good deals in the recent past. The one I'm most mad about was a 2005 Midnight with a turbo for only $40000!!! Man, I would have loved to that to the drags (I've been racing my current Warrior for 5 seasons now)!

What kind of quarter mile times do you get out of your Warrior?

Usually in the low 13s, about 13.10 - 13.08, about 100 mph. Best ET so far is 12.7280 and best Reaction Time of .0042.

Modifications are all pretty minor:
Power Commander V
Churchkey's VBAK
AIS Block
V&H Big Shots
31 Tooth Pulley
Ivan's ECU flash (this is a must!)
Barnet Spring Conversion kit
I used to run an Avon Storm on the back but switched to a Shinko 003 a couple of season ago. Cheaper and I feel it gets better traction on the start, but doesn't work near as well on the street as the Avon.

If you're interested in actual videos of me racing, visit my YouTube page. I have a playlist of my Warrior racing here.

If you're trying to figure which racer is me, my Warrior is a Midnight edition. Look for a jacket with either a large American flag on the back, a skeleton on a Warrior (The patch is in color. Example shown below in black & white is on my shirts/hoodies), or a large Yamaha logo. Reference pictures below.
Tire Wheel Helmet Land vehicle Cloud
Tire Wheel Motorcycle Fuel tank Automotive lighting
Wheel Tire Motorcycle helmet Automotive tire Motorcycle

Also keep an eye out for the Blaster X tail light flashing in "demo" mode. Really easy to spot.

My main page is www.youtube.com/dfhowes - there's a variety of videos there - my truck wreck (pretty bad. link provided below), my kids in various sports, and lots of automobile drag racing. More often than not, it seems that I lose in the first round of eliminations. So rather than pout, pack up and go home, I try to record all races from quarter finals to finals. If you see videos taken from the stands, more likely than not, that's was a losing day for me.

Scary experience I’m sure. Thank GOD you’re ok. I just picked up a 2012 Raider for $6K. I wouldn’t mind picking up both your warriors too. I’m located in NY though.

Let's put em in a seatainer and shipem down to Oz. Can't believe someone hasn't played 'Snap' on this pair. I'm guessing they ship out of NY to Aus.
Can you post pics of right side of bikes.
Cheers
