If you'd like my honest opinion, here it is. It may not be popular, but it's my honest 2¢.
1. I think your tribute is a big turnoff to potential buyers. Whether it's a sticker or paint, no one wants to see a tribute to someone they don't know on the bike they buy.
2. I think your price is a bit high given some of the other deals out there. I bought a stock '05 Midnight with 17k miles from a dealer for $3500 5 years ago. That's only one data point, but I know I'm not alone with finding these kinds of deals.
3. While you have plenty invested in the accessories, they bring next to nothing in additional asking price. The best bet to get any money for those is to sell them separately.
4. rswarrior.com isn't all that active these days so there's minimal traffic for people looking for these bikes. It's always a good idea to start here to support the true enthusiast, but by now, most of us have all the bikes we need unless we wreck one, and that doesn't seem to be too often, especially during the winter months. You'd be better to advertise on Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, or other local sites/locations.
It breaks my heart to know the reasons you're selling. I wish it was under different circumstances but from what I've gleamed from your posts, it's just that time. I wish you the best of luck with getting what you want out of her. I know some guys report selling an almost stock bike with 40k for over $5k so it is definitely possible if you find the right buyer. The really tough truth is that we know what these bikes are capable of and what they are worth to each of us individually, but unless you own one, you don't know so it's hard to get someone to pay top dollar for a bike that's been out of production for over 10 years.
For me, I know that I will own this bike until it falls apart or I can't ride anymore and then I'll let my wife sell it for whatever she can since I won't be able to stomach the pennies it will fetch at that time. It's sad, but too true.
