I like it, but I'm afraid that many of those skills are on the way out and aren't being passed on to the next generation, sad. Oh and I would just like to add one more to the list and that is:

101. When/How to pray

101 does not fit a list of knowing what to DO. If you pray, I guess there is no need to know anything on this list. You are covered.

Hmmm? The people on 9-11 that prayed saved no-one, yet the people who said Let's Roll may have saved many!

nmbillr,

The post doe NOT say what to do in the stead, rather, what a Man should know... Its a tall list and some in the list questionable as to its purpose to some degree based on your demography or life. Your cynisism is duly noted, but rather mis-directed and off-target. Not once in the list was it mentioned that you should pray if you dont know how to do it. The list simply says that these are some skills that a Man should know...

P.S.- I was in NY during 9/11 and I did what I could to survive and make it out based on what I knew from my previous training. In conjunction, I also prayed. And I DID save 2 lives that day. I dont think it was just my training, its a combination of both.

Hey rifleman223, I am sorry, I think I replied to you and not the post after yours where they added a 101 about prayer. I love your post and it's great to know these things but then the religion popped in again like somany other posts. I am a firefighter outside my other work and am proud to know people like you who actually DO things like save people, prayin or not. I just think this list didnt need a 101 so I posted. You just cant pray away everything, heck, the people who hurt us are all about prayer! Again, good post and I didnt mean to make you think this was a reply to you! Bill

Oh well- late entry.

Overhead, you had me literally doubled over laughing with your contribution.

I just know you are in my family tree somewhere! LOL Id justbet Simpson and Goldman were praying instead of fighting back too!

If only they could do these things on the list all would be good!
