I have put a couple of the 130-70-18 Metzlers on my bike with no troubles. Now I'm thinking about the 140.

 

Well, yes it will fit, real close fender clearance. Be sure they sent you the RADIAL! If they cant tell the diff between a 60 and a 70... they could have sent a bias tire.

That 70 profile 880 is my least favored tire on the front. Handling is "quirky", it seems to want to drop in. Mileage is only average. OTOH I hear good reports about the 60 profile 880.

 

The 130/18 fills in the femder better than the 60

I have the Dunlop Elite 3 130/70 no problem.

 

wish I could say that, my 130/70/18 rubbed like crazy. got rubber all over the front fender.

 

I couldn't find a 130/70/18 Metzler radial tire rated a V or Z , looks like metzler only has the 130/60/18 in that class.,,unless i missed it some where. I went ahead and ordered the venom 130/70vr/18. should be here in a week.Any one else use this tire?

Metz 880 130x70-18 is available in Bias, HR, and VR, flavors.

Blade, only saw the ME880 130/70HVR18? what is the HV? i know H=130 mph and v=150,,,,
but HV?=140???

 

Ya,I think thats a typo!

The one I had was the H, I know some of the guys have trouble keeping it under 130, but not me.
