If it's only the engine light, no codes, I'd check the basics, oil, fuel lines, filter etc. If you've done any


recent work on her look into what you did also.

Ride it a couple days, don't lug it. It could clear itself.


If a light illuminates then the ECU triggers a code that displays at the time on the tach. If there's a code jot it down and check the service manual. If there's not a code it'll be surprising, but I understand there's a couple sensors that don't trigger a code, just the light, and the service manual mentions them someplace but I don't know where. I just checked troubleshooting and they are not covered there.
