I have to agree. I'd prefer to see this site stay Warrior focused.

There is a lot of traffic and posts on this site already... can't imagine how much more activity we could handle and stay up with it if we expanded. It would get confusing. Having said that, the owner of a '04 Roadstar could gain useful knowledge by reading some of these forums.

This site used to have an "Other Road Stars" Forum, just for that purpose. However, there was really never any posts made there.

I can put that forum back and see what happens. As long as people follow the rules and post things where they belong it should remain organized.

It's unanimous. This is a very unique motorcycle. It deserves it's own forum. I think it draws a different crowd than the Road Star. I love the Roadies, I just need somthing that get the adrenelin flowing a little more freely.

Now that the Road Star will have the same engine as the Warrior (minus FI and some detuning)

PR run Warriors with carbs. OE too. Is there something funny here? Is the future of the Warrior? or is only for spend $$$. The Roadstar has a 1670cc, the Warrior deserve 6000 rpm engine. When Roadstar get alluminum swingarm and down tubes and inverted forks, the Warrior will loose 100lbs. Let's talk to Yamaha for answers.

For someone who does not even own a Warrior why so much concern? We are rswarrior.com but then there are a lot of folks who are members who do not even own a Warrior or ride, like yourself. I would like to see the RoadStar Forum reopened. A few of my friends ride RoadStar's.
Delphi RoadStar Forum has a Warrior Section, so does the ISRA Forum and these two sites are were it all began.

I am very surprised at how close-minded some of you folks are. It kind of reminds me of the Harley Crowd I use to hang around with and still do. Whoever thought the Warrior Rider's would be as arrogant. What a shame.

no doubt, i agree with darkstar a carknee, Look at all the mods we do that were designed for other bikes. the more the merrier. and since the new '04 roadstars are going to have our engine, the line gets finner. Just think of all the gains we can achieve when this happens. more bikes for larger aftermarket supplies, more knowlege from other cruisers. more support for this sight, seems like a win win situation to me.
