"When you guys did the recall worn on my bike, you left an unacceptable amount of scratches on the clutch housing cover. It looks like an air tool bounced around and caused the damage. I discovered this after washing the engine for a 3rd time to get the oil and grease off of it from the repair. There are numerous oil stains on my garage floor from this. I've been washing the engine every few days to make sure that it's not an engine leak, since I have been trying to get rid of all of the oil drips.

Can you repair this or do I need a new cover?"

Good luck I was just told by my dealer they don't plan on having the bikes past 4 weeks!!!

I am going on 100 days right now! I wouldtake a scratched and oily bike at this point.

I'm only on 2 weeks right now, so it sounds like I have a long way to go.
My dealer did tell me that he got a letter from Yamaha which told him that all the kits will be sent to the dealers before the end of April.
This may be good news for some of us.
