Can anyone tell me if I can spray clear urethane over a vinyl sticker? I suspect that either the paint won't stick to the vinyl or it will eat the plastic. Anyone have any experience with this?

Yeah, you can do it but with varying results. Some vinyl is cast and some is calandered vinyl. Calandered vinyl is rolled out to make it and it can under certain conditions want to shrink back to it's original state. So, under clear, some can move under there. But cast vinyl is well, cast. Automotive vinyls are used under clear all of the time. A lot of pinstriping on new cars are just vinyl pinstripes. The Yamaha logo is vinyl and it's under clear. So, I guess the answer is yes and no.
