On 6/29/07 it appears that site was "hacked." There were about 5 posts that were made by the CarKnee username, but it wasn't me that did it. It looks like there were some vulnerabilities with the site, but not related to passwords!

Passwords for this site are one-way encrypted. That means that I can't even get your passwords if I wanted to!

The forum software is heavily modified and for that reason I haven't been keeping up with the security patches. I am hoping that one of these security flaws allowed for the creation of posts to look like they were created by me.

I have since patched the software and I am hopeful that this will not happen again.
