Hey all - almost got the RSW a couple of years ago, but the seller flaked on me and I wound up with a Suzuki SV1000S. One sore ass later, I sold it and spent last summer without a bike. Needless to say, it sucked. So I'm in the process of getting my loan and making a purchase of a gorgeous 2004 RSW.

I know there were a few recalls on some of the models. Does anyone know if the 2004 was subject to any of those, or where I could find that information. Thanks all and I look forward to becoming an owner.

OK I just searched for that and saw the huge thread. I will ask the current owner if the work has been done. If it hasn't, what do I need to have it done? Does the bike have to be under warranty? Thanks and sorry for the newbie questions...

I recently bought an 03 Warrior. When I heard about the TPS recall, I called the local dealer. I knew about it before they did because of this forum. They ordered the part, let me know when it was in and scheduled the service. Got the bike back the same day no cost and no questions asked. Good service.

Hey MaddMaxx, welcome to the Warrior world. The stealer should have the recall done before you pick it up if it is a Yammi dealer. Look for a punch mark over the top of your VIN #'s which is on the right side of the neck of the bike. No punch hole no recall work done. If its not a yammi dealer go to any Yammi dealer and they will do it.. Great riding to ya

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. Vector... that looks like it by the bars, but I'd have to see the pipes to be sure. Though, that back tire looks bigger than stock so that might not be it. Actually I work in NYC but I live up in Westchester.
