Well, after 4 years or so of thinking "someday I'll probably get one of those Warriors", the day has come.

Bought a new 06 Midnight and am loving it.

Thanks to this board for being around, as I have been on it a lot lately checking out all the great Warriors you guys all have.
Seeing all those modified bikes was a great inspiration and definately made up my mind to finally pull the trigger as they say.

I need to get lots of input on airbox mods, exhaust, ignition and the like. Keep the opinions coming, I value your experience.

I'm in So. Cal, ..... members in my area be sure to chime in!

Great site, I look forward to being a part of it.

Congratulations, and welcome!

As far as intake modding, go with a PR BAK, or Churchkey Bak. Exhaust really depends on what you are looking for, performance, looks???

Thanks! I'm feeling right at home[/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]

Hey Brit...tell me about those pipes on the blue warrior.
They look a lot like some I saw on a retro/ dirt track warrior that was on the Yamaha Star Calendar a while back. I figured they were one offs'.

Gotta know 'bout those pipes!

Thanx

You're bang on the money my friend. That yellow Warrior that you refer to and JSpencer's Warrior were my inspiration for these pipes. Had them fabbed up at a local shop and got the tips from Kewlmetal.
