Seeing that I have a newly acquired 'gently used' '03 Warrior, I am now, once again... an genuine Warrior forum owner/rider/particpant/list clown-loud mouth. (not that I'd ever take that title away from Mike).
She's a beauty, no doubt. (photos to follow)
Jon:
Thanks again bro for making things so easy for me. This whole deal proves that there are good people, whom you can trust, still in this world. I swear to ya... the old Honda slogan of 'You meet the nicest people on a HONDA' applies to the Warrior crowd as well.
Oh, and tell the lil lady that our first date is sooner than she thinks.. She'll know what you're talking about.. LOL... I think she was a tad jealous this morning.. ROFLMAO..
Anywho...
As some of you already know, I picked up 102-Copper's Warrior today. I worked Friday, left the office at 5:30pm or so.. and left home headed to Philly about 8:15pm. Drove all night, arriving in Philly about 6:30am. Jawed around with Jon and the lil lady.. whom I QUICKLY determined could NEVER meet my wife... something about similar fetishes..., loaded up the Warrior and immediately headed right back home.
Made the entire trip in 24hrs and 15 minutes. Stopped to sleep for 1.5hrs twice and jawed with Jon for about the same.. Overall.. GREAT TRIP... save the lack of sleep.
There is just something about being able to look in the garage and see the bike.. sitting there quietly.. waiting to be ridden.. that just makes you feel good all over. I think I'll sneak a peek before I hit the hay...
I recall the feeling I had for the first few weeks after picking up my new '02 in May of '04.. I'm feeling the exact same thing again in June of '06. What a feeling!
