I looked, didn't find anything on the lion. I did find speed info on the Cheetah though. Top end of 70 to 75 mph, in school I was taught it was only 65. But the impressive thing about the cheetah is it's acceleration. It can do zero to 100kph/62.5mph in 3 seconds. That's friggin quick!
So if I strapped 3 of them to the front of my Warrior, I could do it in 1 second!

So, according to infoplease.com, Speed of Animals — Infoplease.com, a lions top speed while charging is 50 MPH or 24.5 yards covered in a second. So assuming a charging lion at full speed can keep charging at that speed for 4.08 seconds, it covers a hundred yards in this time.

1 MPH = 1.47 feet per second * 50 = 73.5 feet per second or 24.5 yards per second.

So, I got the 3.5 second for a Lion 100 yard dash via a lion tamers statement but I will back off of this and go with the 4.08 second 100 yard dash. Pretty quick them lions.

My brother and I had at it on the freeway a month ago. My Warrior against his 94 VMAX. Not so good for me once we passed 115. Thought I'd get that bugger but not to be. Close but no cigar.

But..he sold the VMAX and is back on the 1500 Vulcan. He's mine again!!

Racing Warriors

We best stick to racing Harleys and each other. Racing sport bikes, VMax etc., you are not going to do well! The 600 cc machines these days will out run most 1000 cc machines. My 30+ year old XS11's will out run the Warrior so if I am going to race someone, I need to know I have a chance before I would! I hate to lose!

ONLY if I was in Louisianna I would gladly show you my tail light way ahead of you there is no way that a xs1100 could beat a warrior in a drag race and I would put my title to my bike on that my warrior runs a 10.80 et at the dragstrip here in Denver COLORADO and I ride it every day...
What a small world! Two members of the Warrior forum who both own not only a Warrior but also an XS1100. Foreda's post made it sound like he would know which bike was fastest since he owns one of each of them, but then your post makes it sounds like you know the Warrior is fastest since you also own one of each of the bikes in question. I mean, you *do* own an XS1100 like foreda does, right? :) Foreda, it might be worth your $ to pay for his trip to visit you and tell him to bring his Warrior and title to the bike with him. ;)

You might be right!! Stock for stock, the XS will win that race! If he is running 10 sec et's, I suspect he is not stock.

I'll ask again what you have for a bike/ motor. I don't think you ever answered when we called "bull ****" in another post http://www.rswarrior.com/forums/15-warrior-racing/155071-warrior-vs-raider.html#post2232510 where you claimed your Warrior was clocked at 165 mph.

And bruce 59 before i could answer the warrior vs raider thread was no longer in active topics ... And yes i"ve been clocked at 165mph got the ticket and got the fine & a little jail time and yes my bike is a not so stock warrior the motor is no longer a 1700 its much bigger now thanks to my buddy and his yamaha shop thats right he owns a yamaha shop so i have unlimited use to a dyno and all the nice stuff to go faster than anyone with a adverge warrior so anymore ???? So the next time you want to call bull$#@* you might want to think twice on who you might be calling bull$#@* on!! Some of us have deep pockets and nothing better to do than play with there toys at there shop and by the way turbos do wonders on stock warriors i have a warrior with a turbo also !!!!! So have a nice day little buddy!!!!
I still say bullsh!t. :D:D:D Lots of talk and still zero details about what has been done to the bike. Nothing to see here, folks, just move along. ;)

That's NOTHING! I have a Harley that has a turbocharger that feeds dual superchargers that feed quadruple turbochargers. I run the quarter mile in 4 seconds flat and I stop at the halfway point of the track and drink a beer before finishing up the run. I have more $ than Bill Gates and get laid more than Hugh Heffner, too. :D:D:D

So shag if i give out details then the guys i run against up here will know my secrets not happening cause some of those guys are on this forum and we all race at the track together..
Oh, ok. That makes sense. Hey, all you other guys who race with CMIDGET who are on the forum can you chime in here so that we know who you are? Mkaythanks!

Hey, cmidget.... You're a dumb a$$ ha ha. Now give me specs on how you are not and why your think you are not. And do not claim doctor patient privilege for why you can't tell us like you are claiming your keeping the motor and number information secret ya pansy. Way to be a team player on a forum that good honest people SHARE information for other good honest people to access. You're like a 18 year old on Xbox live claiming he has a Ferrari, pointless and stupid with no proof whatsoever. Glad you have money. Guess it just proves that old saying, "Cmigdet is an a$$hole" lol

I'll make it simple while keeping your numbers and motor work a secret. Give us the specs on your front and rear pulleys and your drive belt...O and please say you have a chain drive with no pictures or proof either. But still give us a tooth count and chain specs if you say you do.....

To shag and everybody else I know who this guy is his bike is highly moded he has a lot of trick stuff on his bike lets start here engine mods he has raider cylnders ported&polised&bench flowed heads lightened crank big compression pistons reworked cams by his buddy Dan Crower at CROWER CAMS all head work was done there also drive pulleys for belt drive have also been changed he also made his own exhaust too this bike is way fast on the track and on the street I have raced him with my VMAX and cant beat him I know all this how? you ask my freind used to work at the yamaha shop that this guy hangs out at with the owner of that shop oh I almost forgot that warrior of his makes almost 200hp I will try to get a copy of the last dyno sheet and post that up...

OK, now I feel really stupid.

Being in the FBI and assigned to the CIA and the NSA gives me certain access to state records, well don't ask cause I would need to kill you.

Anyway, I found the DMV record for the most highly modified Warrior in Louisiana and tracked this to our plate ID and secrtet tracking videos and found him testing his latest Warrior mods. Very impressive, and you go Cmidget, go.
