Another PCIII question

I bought a PCIII used from a RSW member for $40, He told me that it would hold a map, but wouldn't start. Finished my V-BAK and PCIII installation today and sure enough bike would not start. Disconnected the PCIII and the warrior roared to life. Any body have any ideas before I send unit back to Dynojet for repair.

No idea, but, I think even if Dynojet charges to fix it, you still got one **** of a deal.

Does Dynojet give a warranty to second owner?

no warranty to 2nd owner. I am hoping if I send unit back that it will cost less than $100 to fix. WAs hoping for some ideas before I contact dynojet.

first check out the wiring harness, could be something as simple as a short. If that isn't it then send it in cross your fingers and hope for a low repair bill.

Could it be grounded improperly? I mean 40$..... id try to take it apart and make sure all connections looked good. A connection somewhere isn't connected... hope its not on the board. Good luck man![8D]

Sounds like a bad deal, a $40 PCIII is too good to be true.

I would send it back to Dynojet and tell them you lost the receipt. Otherwords you are the original owner. Contact them via email or phone. Talk to one of their techs. It might be a simple fix.
