For those who have been getting amazon push-ads on their Apple devices (and some android but no complaints here yet), following is the early appearance of the situation as discovered thus far. Things are active and changing. Because I cannot possibly communicate this as well as Admin has already, here is a copy-paste.

This is for info only. Feel free to post questions but it might be awhile before they roll-out a solution. Thankfully there are a couple actions.

"It's a bit of mix of factors going on. The popups are coming through our ad network, so it's definitely a site problem.

But, they aren't supposed to be able to so and are taking advantage of a vulnerability with Apple products (and Android, though more commonly Apple), specifically a vulnerability with how the ads communicate with mobile devices.

So the source is on our end, but the method is on the device software end. We aren't alone in this issue either. A lot of websites are reporting these as well, including CNN and TMZ.

We're looking into what can be done on our end, but users should also keep an eye out for any updates for their devices, in case the solution comes from that end.

My advice for how to respond is to suggest using the Enhanced Mobile View for phones, as it's a lot less common there, and if they get any more popups to send the address of the popup our way, specifying the device and if they are using the EMV or not. We can then put a specific block in place, which won't help in the long term but will provide at least momentary respite. "
