Brakes are cured but I'll have to let you know later about going. I've got to go get my truck tonite at the shop so I don't know how it'll work out yet.

 

How about a good address for Vortex. I just came off night shift and moved over to weekends, so I have a little time available for riding now. Would like to hook up with some other warriors and ride some. I live on the south side in PTC, along with about 5-6 other warriors local that never ride.

Gentlemen,

I just finished up a 2 month rotation in Europe and am now home for good! It is next to impossible to get me out during the week, but am free anytime for a ride on the weekends, just ask. Warning, I am a novice rider, but can keep it in straight line. Hopefully, none of you has sold your ride. I stopped by WOW this week and saw a red warrior with custom black pipes on the floor for sale. Looks like it was ridden hard and put to bed wet!

"Put to bed wet" is a gentle way of saying it. That bike was ridden harder than Nina Hartley.

Bruce these young fellers probably don't know who Nina Hartley is. I always rode that bike like you would drive a rental car.

 

Nina Hartley and rentals cars, what a great way to compare your riding style to. It was good meeting you and Bruce the other night, wife didn't care for the place too much, so I'll probable get to come solo next time. By the way Bruce, how did you do in the drags down south and what were your times?

The SEMDRA run was good, two of our five made into the finals, placing second in Pro and Street ET. I must have needed some rest 'cause I was out early due to missing second gear. Stooooopid. I wore my ass out on the rain-soaked ride down and back; that broomstick aint much for more than twenty or thirty miles... 500+ r/t killed me. (I ran 7.7s there, it's a nicely prepped track.)
After riding Ronnies bike, I'm thinking of chucking mine.

we have familes staying with us that lost everything in NO.

cant leave the house, too much cash laying around..

i should say my wife's family... 9 people we are trying to accomodate plus our normal 4

maybe they could chip in for some bike gas money..lol
