ok... i have a question. Im pretty lame when it comes to fabricating and changing things on moters and bikes unless it has VERY good instructions with lots of pictures. Which would be better the kit from Baron's or just following the steps some people have laid out in this forum to take off the AIS? Plus i have no way of making parts if needed. Becuase i realy like the look of the bike when that box is off and you can see that huge eninge.[/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]

Meltdown,
Your going to need the baron's kit either way. The kit has plates that blocks off the engine side of the AIS. Several people on this forum have taken the whole AIS off after putting the kit in. You can't take the AIS off unless you seal the engine off in some way.
