Bike Fell Over.... Clutch lever & Tank

Never thought it would happen to me but the bike was idling in my driveway and fell over yesterday. I'm not sure if the kickstand wasn't all the way out or if it was on too much of a slope. I hadn't ridden in a week so I picked it up and took off in disbelief. WTF?

I'm in need of a clutch lever for sure and possibly a fuel tank. I might have the tank repaired if its cheaper because I was going to have it repainted anyway (stock 02 red). The end of my grip is scuffed up too, I'll probably bite the bullet and get some Kuryakyns.

PS. If anybody is interested in a candy cane shaped clutch lever PM me :(

I too know the feeling, rode around w/ a scraped tank for 3 months before finding a newone. The scuffed grip is still on, saving to buy new handle bars + grips at the same time.
Good luck man.

Mine fell over also. Bent the clutch lever, tweaked the handlebars a little, but did not get to the tank. If there is one thing Harley has that is better than the warrior(Besides resale) it is the kickstand. Theirs locks in place when weight is on them. I wish ours did.

Same thing happened to the guy I bought mine from. Most of the reason I got it $2K under KBB.

I put on the Kuryakyns wide levers and ISO grips. I have the number for a dent repair guy from the local body shop. Lucky for me the small dent is right under the "Warrior" emblem so I can replace that and cover it back up nicely.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one smart enough to dump the bike without even being on it. I'm glad neither of the fenders were touched since I was planning to paint the tank anway. I can't tell if the bars are tweaked, it will drive me nuts if they are. My shift lever was bent a little but I straightened it by hand.

Had the same thing happen to me. My heart fell as the bike did. The kickstand bumped a fire pit when i was taking the bike out but I did not see it. I started it and it was idling away and about 2 min later it dropped. Lucky the tank made it but my 150 buck grips I just put on got beat up. Good lessen to all, make sure the kickstand is fully extended everytime.

that sucks, and the season is just starting. hope the rest of the season is safe! a little prayer for all the warriors for the season... May God be with you as you ride and enjoy the open road, may you be able to out ride all things you encounter to bring you home safe ,and when you cant ,may GOD take control of the bars to steer you thru and keep you safe, GOD bless you all this riding season, btk572

RE:high gravity areas

Hey, if no flesh was involved, what the heck! I work in an Trauma OR and there is a lot worse that can happen! Give me your address and I will send you a stock lever. I just added a set of wide chrome ones and I am fairly sure I can find the spare. Your bars survived?

Bars are close if not straight. Don't have the funds to change them out right now so they will have to do. Thanks for the lever!

Got an estimate to fix my tank, repaint, and paint my chin fairing and tach bezel - $1100. That's not gonna happen.
