I am looking to take my warrior to track days here in Oklahoma, I have done some mods to include a PCV, exhaust, and a vbak kit and am looking to upgrade my brakes so I can still stop lol. My next step is what R1 calipers can fit on an '08 Warrior. I have heard of some mods but haven't found out if there are any mods that need to be done beforehand or not

Do you happen to know what year R1 brakes will fit an 08 warrior? I'm hoping the 08 R1 brakes will fit but I haven't been able to find part numbers to match if they even will

The stock brakes are pretty good, some braided lines and pads will do fine I would think. Switch to a radial R1 master cylinder for better feel if you feel like it needs it.

That said, you can swap on the complete front end from an '08 R1 onto your bike. Forks, wheel, brakes and all. I did that to mine when I still had the Warrior, it sure made a difference and would be a worthwhile mod if you are really taking it to the track...
