It would be great to at least receive a PM or close the thread with a post explaining why it's been locked. I'd love an explanation...as I'm already paranoid that this happens way too often around here.

It might be helpful to avoid whatever the violation was, in the future.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess one of two things:

1) Someone deemed it not a "completed mod" and yanked it. Since I plan on pulling it back off, finishing up the fine sanding and repainting it the same color it is in the pic....seems pointless.

2) That mod who really doesn't like me just felt the need to do it again......? [/emoticons/emotion-5.gif][/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

Must have been an accident. Sometimes it's easy to hit the wrong button. One time I accidently deleted a whole topic when I really meant to move it. Anyways, I un-locked yours.

Whenever stuff like this happens it can be answered just as easily with a PM to a moderator. We are more than happy to tell you why it was locked or correct any mistakes that might have happened.

BHW,

You could always delete this post. This way you can "burn" the evidence
.

Actually he can't. You can only delete a topic that you started if no one has replied to it. Only a moderator can delete a topic that has been posted to.

Yes, I am with Sangathor on this one. It is very easy to click the wrong button when editing or moving a topic. I have been quilty of the same. Just like Steve, I have accidently "Deleted" a Topic when I was Editing and or Moving it to the apprioate forum.
