work sent me to washington dc for a week. took bike with me,by the way fits perfect in my safari/astro van, first day out clutch cable broke. got the bike with some kind of after market controls. i was told they were arlen ness never liked them due to lack of buttons, 2 on each side, no high beam turns engine kill etc. can't find piece that holds cable to lever.anyway, i think i would like to return to stock if anyone has any or any experience with a good set of aftermarkets plz let me know. also probably selling these controls, will post pics when i get home.

finally home. thanks for the pm's offering help. found a yamaha dealer which was absolutely no help. seems like every time something happens to me its the first time it's ever happened to anybody. no one at the parts counter could figure out what i wanted. home depot, some 3/32" cable, 2 cable end stops, a clevis pin, and the crimp tool, fixed the problem, for a total of $35.
