Both my roommate and I bought Warriors during the summer and both our rear left turn signals absorb water in the Florida humidity and are falling apart with rust. I took it to the Yamaha dealership and they spoke with Yamaha. They have had no other complaints about this, but they're replacing the turn signals immediately for us.

We still don't understand why. It seems that out of the four turn signals, the rear RIGHT turn signal is the only one that is vented. That would make you think that the other three would eventually gather water and rust, but it's ONLY the LEFT rear that does.

Weird, huh?
Any other experiences with this?

I replaced my turn signals this past weekend, so it doesn't really affect me anymore, but I thought I'd open the topic for the benefit of all who still have the stock turn sigs.

If the other ones aren't vented and do just fine, perhaps sealing the one that is vented would be good preventative maintenance in your case? I will take a look at mine as well.....
