I'm just curious why no one routes the crank case breather to the original puke hose where the tank vent hose is connected. Is this frowned upon or is this just a really bad idea?

Looking at lots of vbak info and everyone runs the hose to the bottom of the bike but there is already a puke hose that was run factory so just thinking out loud.

I have my airbox off and I dont think I want to put it back on. What a pain to remove........

The Puke Valve Hose is 5/32" (4mm) I.D. and only designed to handle by-pass oil built up in the Factory air box.
  • In stock form the generated crankcase fumes are being digested by the motor per EPA/DOT

I see. So the diameter isnt big enough for fumes etc even using a reducer coupler. Thanks Alan!
