i have a local guy that has a speed shop and wants to design some warrior stuff.he normally specializes in exhaust, usually for sport bikes.he and i are in a negotiation about what to make.i am not too sure how much input i will have on his designs but he wants to manufacture an exhaust system that produces more torque and hp than the stocker, but he wants a system that people will buy so think about it...what do you want?????
i am going to put my bike back to stock so he can dyno it than he will design either a full system a slip on or both,he won't sell anything with out proven #'s .i want to keep his info private for now but if any of you have ideas, drawings, designs, pipe heighth, diameter.etc please e-mail me your info.understanding of course that its highly unlikely that you would receive any credit
thanks

I am a big fan of the look of the stock can. I want more sound from the bike, but I do not want to change the look of the exhaust. COming from sport bikes I still like the carbon fiber look.

I recommend keeping a similar look, but with more sound & possibly Carbon fiber the thing!

Keep us posted!

I might be into that! It is the closest thing to the stock can. There were no numbers reported; all they said was "the V-5 offers significant horsepower increases over the stock."

It is a bit smaller than the stock, but I dont anticipate anyone making an aftermarket can to look like stock.

Here is the link for everyone:

I read in the Star Riders forum that Baron's is making a carbon fiber system for the Warrior. I have yet to see it (or anything else for the Warrior) on their website, tho.
I've pre-ordered a set of V&H Big Shots in the hope of bringing 100hp to the rear wheel. I have the PCIII just waiting for the dang things to show up.

BoogieMan,
Hey, does you're friend design anything else besides the pipe. I am looking for someone to design a mini-back rest that will go with the stock look and seat. Something that is low profile, more for looks then actual function. Functional maybe in strapping down luggage or faking a passenger into feeling a little more secure. Kind of like what some of these HD's have going on. Low Profile BackRest.

As for the Carbon Fiber Slip-on, rumor has it Baron's will be releasing it this fall. Looks OK to me. Kind of small in my eyes, but to each their own taste.

That looks good! The price is right too! I will be willing to give that a shot.

How hard is it to change the can? Is it just a few bolts? Can the stock can be put right back on if wanted?

Anyone waiting for V&H Big Shots? Release date has been pushed back to at least 1 Oct.

The stock can is easy to remove. It's basically just a slip-on. One bolt behind the pipe where it joins the can, a couple more bolts off the mount, and it's off. It's kinda heavy, too. I drilled a couple of 1/2" holes in the center disk - more out of sheer frustration than anything else. The PCIII is going on next week. I'll post my impressions . . .

well i just got off the phone with the exhaust guy and i'm going up next wedsday to see the fabricator.so far here is the plan.he wants to do a slip on sport bike type can but smaller than stock, polished stainless or a special black powder coated.the first trip will be measuring the all the different angles to make a prototype.then what he will do is have it made up where we will check for fit and some dyno work.first stock and then with his slip on.this time he will have the bike for a couple of days.then he will get a finished product available for taking pics of it installed and recheck fit .i am hoping to get him in the saddle for awhile let him ride a bit maybe he will want to make more stuff, but anyway we have to wait and see what happens next week when i go see him i will post his responses, all of you guys who emailed pics and suggestions thanks i will print that all out before i go and show him all you pics and responses

that isn't the actual can, but it is what i designed with MSpaint to see how it would look. i am working on it at my job, when i can find the time. hopfully i will have plenty of time soon!
