I found a place near by that will do a custom map for me.. FULLTHROTTLE MOTORSPORTS in Lansing, MI. now my question is to those that have had custom maps made for your PCIII. Hwo long did they take to do the map?? The reason I ask is they want to have my bike for a week to do the map!! A WEEK!!! WOWWEE!! A WHOLE FRIGGIN WEEK!! I have been without a bike for more more than two months now, and when I get her back I have to leave it at the shop for another week-,, YUR GONNA MAKE ME CRY!!!! He said that the reason it is a week is because the don't like to do consecutive runs on aircooled bikes because of heat issue and bluing of the pipes, and to do it correctly they need to maintain a optimal temp. So they give it a rest. They will be doing a map from scratch. $300 bucks, does that sound right?

They are full of shi....

To produce a custom MAP requires several hours on the Dyno. A cheeper and better way to go is to list your mods on this forum and someone will e-mail you the correct MAP. Then you can always have it checked or slightly modified on the Dyno. Much less time and much less money. However, that last little adjustment could cost you $100 and only gain you 1/2 h.p., if any.

OK, Does anybody in lower Michigan, Upper Ohio, Indiana know wher there is a good place to get a map made. Sofar that is the closest one, **** the only one that I could find within 100 miles. But I don't have the best resources to locat one.. I would think that there would be at least one good one in the detroit area.

Retrack, there are 2 others close by BUT, they will only do HARLEYS. If they only knew the money they are loosing out on!! Dumb motherf#@%&$!!!

I just had one done 2 weeks ago. They kept the bike overnight, from 7pm to 10pm, and did 31 runs (with breaks) in just over 2 hours - along with other adjustments, all for $250. Can't argue with the cost, every dyno shop has their policies... But a week, give me a break. This place must have bikes out the door waiting on the dyno... or is that how long they said it would take?
