diff. in samsons?

does anybody know what the difference in the samson shorties, slashers, ground pounders etc. I have slashers and they all look as though that they all share the same pipes, just different ends. Am I right? If so, then it wouldnt be terribly difficult to change them up or make them different!!

I've got the ground pounders and have noticed this too. The pipes look to be the same length for all of them, just with different tips. I really wanted the slasher one's, but I can't find anyone that sells just the tips.

i wouldn't mind being able to switch between shorties and slashers when i want. that would be an easy one since all that i would have to do is make some ends at work. but what i wouldered is if all the others had the same headers. It would be nice if the sold the ends separatly..

The tips are available separately. Here some Sampson part#s:
Ground Pounder Tip Set 26-08
Street Sweeper Tip Set 26-09
Slasher Tip Set 26-11
Rip Saw Tip Set 26-12
I got these from a Sampson catalog I picked up at a bike show this winter. Being able to swap tips and change the look is what made me go with the ShoGun pipes.

How do you guys like your Samsons? I like the ground pounders, and can't decide between those and the VH Pro Pipe.

I love them... I do wish the heat shield was one piece on the rear pipe. They are totally different than the ProPipe... and if you run them without Baffles, they sound mean !!!

no complaints here except the heat sheild on the rear pipe, but it isn't that noticeable. I love the way that they sound w/o the baffels, and haven't heard the with yet. Good performance gains, great looks, and sound, you can't beat that!!

yes, just have to remove the right foot peg assembly before taking the pipe off...

Well, I didn't to take the stockers off, but you definatly will to put the new ones on!! probably 30 mins. total time..
