Don't know about chrome on that set of pipes they look like serious race/performance pipes. I can see my bike with those black pipes & a NOX bottle hanging off the front downtube. Probably would not get many takers from a stop light.

I'll vote for black, maybe chrome can be an option.

MSM,

Throttle, Boogieman, Amospro and myself all have pulls on the same dyno (Gforce). That might give you an idea of the differences between pipes with relatively similar intake mods. Boogieman and I are running the Churchkey's VBAK, and we are probably neck and neck speedwise on the street. I'd say our two bikes would be most comparable HP/Tq wise. I think only Throttle had a pull done with the stock pipe. I know Oliver (Frankenstein) was getting some pulls done with a variety of exhausts. But even if you used different bikes' stock bike pulls on the same dyno, what will that tell you?

The only thing I was getting at Jimbo was the fact if 2 people start off with stock warriors and one dynos at 70 h.p. and another dyno's in at 75 h.p.,same dyno, same day,,,just as a comparison. and they do different exhaust,etc....obviously if both pipes perform the same the guy that started off with more horsepower is still going to have more horsepower, but the thing is I have rarely ever seen anybody post stock dyno #'s with their mod #'s and everyone gets a false impression that if so and so did this exhaust with this BAK and etc. and has 90 h.p....then if I do those same mods I will have 90 h.p. too. I dont think this is true because I know there is a variance with all bikes.Even Rob has stated before that he's seen as many as a 10 h.p. difference between gsx-r1000's(stock).It may not be as big a difference with the warriors(although it could be).My previous statement was just that...I was curious to see what kind of variance Rob or PR has seen between stock warriors before any mods.If I remember right there was one member that was claiming he had an exhaust,BAK,and some other mod done and he was only getting like 63 h.p. on the dyno and everyone said his exhaust was the reason. It's really just more of a curiosity thing with me as I would like to know what kind of quality control goes on with the warriors but I would also like to see when someone shows dyno #'s that they show stock and after each mod to see what kind of gain each has had.I know that not everyone has that kind of dyno access but if they did it would be more helpful for other members.Just my opinion though.

Okay moderators you may want to move this topic to the vender forum...your call.
i know some of you guys have been following my progress with this header system for a while. we have in fact been working on it off and on for several months and several different designs (5) to get to where we are now.i guess in this case 5's a charm.we expiriemented with many pipe diameter sizes, collector types and sizes as well as overall lengths.in reality it has been a pain in the butt for both of us, some of the designs that we tried made huge torque but low hp and some were just the opposite.

Dale called me yesterday and said that he has made a few decisions about whats going to be available, this isn't set in stone or anything but here is the plan so far.
it will be available in ceramic black and ceramic silver, coated inside and out, and it will have a 3 year no rust warranty.
the ceramic coating will provide smoother flow and better cooling,as at this time there is no plan for heat sheilds.

also i beleive the rear pipe hanger will be redesigned similiar to the stock can hanger but a little bit smaller and cleaner looking, with a possible hook up to relocate brake resevoir.

he hasn't really said much about the pipe hanger yet but i beleive its neccessary.

in addition the pipe when completed will also come with a copy of the map that was made on my bike.

We made a few final adjustments and tucked it in a bit more. Also worked on a new rear bracket for the muffler and master cylinder to tuck it away better. We have our welding jig completed as well. So next we cut it apart and send it to my CNC tubing bender to take a look at.

As far as a heat shields , That will be one of the last steps I deal with and It will have one made of stainless so you dont burn your lower leg off when you come to a stop and put your foot down.

Happy Holidays guys

Also thanks Chuck for hanging in there with your bike
