Motorcycle EggtravaganzaGet your Easter off to a cracking startThe Wings Easter Egg Run in Aid of the Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal.Sunday 5th April 2009
Would you like to have fun this Easter! Then why not take part in the very first Royal Air forces Association to Cosford Air Museum motorcycle run.The run will be leaving from various venues including Newtown (Powys-Wales), Birmingham and Leicester with everyone meeting at Shrewsbury FC to be escorted to RAF Cosford. The escorted ride to RAF Cosford will leave at 11.30am from Shrewsbury FC, so make sure you leave plenty of time if you need to register. Start Venues: Newtown - Radio Maldwyn, The Park, Newtown, Powys (Registration open 8,30am)
Birmingham - Stratstone Harley-Davidson & Buell, Waterlinks Motor Village, Aston (Registration open 8.30am)
Leicester - TBA (Contact Pete Brocklehurst 0116 2688757)You will be supporting the Royal Air Forces Association welfare program and service personnel and have a great day out at the same time.Your final destination will be RAF Cosford where RAF personnel will be ready with hot drinks on arrival.You then have free access to the air museum at Cosford and the opportunity to wander around the Shropshire scale Modellers show. All we ask is a donation of £5.00 per person and an Easter egg for RAF personnel and their families.To take part you will need to register prior to the event or there will be the opportunity to sign up on the day at Shrewsbury Football Club, Birmingham or Leicester.If your club would like to organise their own run into Shrewsbury contact Martin for a registration pack and further information.Entry to RAF Cosford will be by ticket only so you need to register before you arrive. Hiya Bob, Hi everyone


Yep still here keeping an eye on things, just had s**t loads of work on. Time on the net has to be limited at the moment.Gotta get the house sorted after years of neglect
, trouble is the Warrior is sat in the garage still gruby from its last outing in 2008. 'Still need to post photos of latest mods'.


I know, I should be flogged in a market place but hey,Looking foreward to this years Rallies, I'me told the weather should be good this year!! How the **** they know that when they cant predict the following day is beyond me but we live in hope.


How are you mate, I gather you've been peddling calenders for a good cause? ***SUPERB***


Looking to do Yam day this year with luck, maybe see ya there.

I still have some left if you want one Ivan. Let me know before Sunday as I will not be selling any more after that.

Sorry Marc,


Did'nt see post till tday. Yes we went. I must say considering this was the first event of this type for the wings appeal, the turnout was very impressive, I would estimate 4000 bikes. All junctions marshelled by police, and the M54 was like we ownedit. Made very welcome at the base.


My only disapointment was I never saw another Warrior, but there you go.


Should be going to the Ace this year with a couple of the guys might be a bit late though as we are doing the Robin on sat night, might be a few beers flowing who knows. So we should see ya there, or at Leeds Lions, or at Chopper Club, or even the Nabd, Or maybee our own rally at end of june.


Must put another post on about that.
