I know never buy stuff from eBay.

Made an attempt to mount these yesterday.
The fairing went on after wrestling around and a hefty push to align the holes, after all that it rocks on the two mounting bushings. I could fix that.

THE CHIN SPOILER on the other hand was a act of futility!!!!!
Just to keep this short it will not fit over the frame, if forced the the holes at the bottom pull off the peg mounts and the top mount holes were still and inch from where they meat the holes at the rectifier.

I communicated with the seller in Latonia and his advise was to just push harder. OMG!
Where I come from, IF IT DONT FIT DONT FORCE IT.......

So before I pull out the die grinder and start the creative cutting, I figure Id reach out here and see if anyone else has had this problem and how they got through it.

pretty hard to tell from looking at the pics but def looks like you can bend open the tabs a hair and slide it over the sides and top of the frame...should have some flexibility to it. just be careful.

Your thoughts on forcing it are right. If you put constant pressure on fiberglass it will eventually crack or at least put cracks in your paint. You may have to trim the top section near the rectifier so that the spoiler can sit a bit higher and as such not be forced to fit over the frame. You can then make two small metal brackets to bolt to the mounting location near the rectifier and to two new holes you make in the top section I would use a rubber washer that you can get at a plumbing section in a hardware store between the washer you use on the top of the chin spoiler between the washer and the spoiler. This helps absorb any vibrations

You shouldn't be having that kind of issues
Especially when you bought something that's made specifically for your warrior....

I would be asking for my $$$ back or for another part that fits correctly

Yeah... The contact from the seller said nothing about, just send it back, just push harder.
I ended it with let the part set on the mold longer, that's when he stopped replying.

The pictures really don't show just how much push would be needed. The picture of the ears at the peg mounts show how much they are already distorting just from holding it up to the frame.

This not my first rodeo with overseas parts.
I was just curious if anyone ran into this with theirs.

I'll have the die grinder in hand tomorrow and start trimming. If I'm sucessful I'll post pics for those who run into this also.

Ebay refunds are sometimes possible.

That seems to be the wrong part or a knock-off. Hard to be certain from your pics.

Those are Star Accessory parts but not S* parts. You'll notice the S* parts in the catalog are called it.

After a morning of cutting, whittling, and sanding, it now fits.

I hope nobody else runs into this but, hopefully this thread serves as a
BUYER BEWARE.
