Hello I'm still looking into the oil around my rear shock , but here is another tech. question.I live in Vermont and i want to start running Spectro semi synthetic oil in my bike ( as we know yamaha recommends 20W40 ) Spectro seems to have only 10W40 or 20W50 semi syn.A spectro rep once told me that the semi brand would be fine for my climate and a local bike shop told me to run 20w50,somone else said run 10W40.What do you guys think.
Thanks

Do yourself a favor and pull up our search feature. I am positive we have about 3 months worth of reading covering this particular subject. As for running 20w50 you will be fine during the heart of summer. I run through Vermont 3-4 times per year on my Warrior, but than I am hammering it to the limit each and every time I ride Rt 100.......cooler months I would recommend switching back to the 20w40, but than who knows. I run Spectro, Mobil and Yamaha in my Warrior....
