For those whose email address I do not have. I have just sent this email regarding the meeting:
If you want to be included in the mailing list write me a PM

Hi guys,

We decided at the meeting that the 2019 European Warrior Meeting will take place in England. Exact location and time is not set up yet.
But it will take place as usual in July. As soon the organization team has found the perfect location and date, I will let you know.
The Meeting will be within a 3-4 hour drive (check out, refueling, possible traffic jam)
from Dover. Somehow we could take a ferry around noon.
Because the longer distance, we play with the idea to meet on Thursday in Belgium or France in a hotel and travel together by ferry to England.
Maybe we will get a group discount for the ferry. The planning for this “warm-up” can be start after the location is fixed.

For better planning we need some information from you. Everything without obligation at the moment. Please answer the following questions:

1. Are you coming to the meeting (yes / no)?
2. Do you want to have a few extra days there? (before / after / no)?
3. Do you want to stay overnight on Thursday (yes / no)?

Cheers

Hi guys,

I have received the answer of the ferry companies regarding a group discount now. DFDS does not provide any discount but PO Ferries. PO Ferries only do Calais - Dover and not from Dunkirk. But that shouldn’t be

a problem as the two ports are only 30 minutes apart.
The pure crossing lasts 1.5 hours. Check in is one hour before. You can change money on the ferry and having lunch in one of the numerous bistros.

Currently scheduled for the outward journey on 19.07 at 11:35 and the return journey on 21.07 at 14:05.

The prices are valid for round trip:
Motorcycles (up to 2 persons): 38 € instead of 71 € (economy ticket)
Cars (up to 9 people): 76 € instead of 142 € (economy ticket)

The price savings compared to a normal economy ticket are 50%. As much as a single trip. To get this discount we have to get at least 10 vehicles together.
A separate return journey with the group discount is not possible! Would someone like to go home later (like me), he has to book a ticket for himself. For all those I have an additional discount of 10% negotiated.

Calculation example for those who want to stay longer:
Outward journey on 19.07 = 37 € (economy ticket with discount) or 38 € (group discount and the return journey on 21.07 expires)
Return journey on 27.07 = 40 € (economy ticket with discount)

For the scheduled itinerary from Dover to the hotel see attachement. Alternatively, we could also drive on the highway (2 hours).

Staying overnight on Thursday. The wedge symbolizes the "entry lane" of most Warriors. The journey time of Ypres to Calais is 2 hours, Ghent 3 hours and Mons 3 hours (see attachemnt).
In order to arrive at the hotel in Haywards Heath at 17:00 clock (without time difference) we would have to leave
in Ypres at 8:30.

Please let me know as soon as possible if and how you want to book the ferry. In the european warrior forum is already discussed
where we want to spend the night before.

For those who has not enough time for the whole trip Gatwick airport is just 25 km away.

Cheers

Hi guys,

Is it still possible to join the Euro Meeting in UK and to arrange for a sleeping accomodation in The Birch Hotel? If so, please let me know what the costs will be, where/how to pay for it and how to get it arranged.

Thanks for your help and input!

Hey guys,

If you're taking the route in post 6 you may well come across "Warrior Square", do stop there to take a pic of the sign with all the warriors in front of it ;)
