Guys, after installing a Baron's BAK, AIS, S*pipe and PCIIIUSB, I got a fault code 14 and 26 and it drops off at idle. The code means a pipe is blocked or the TPS is stuck. The pipe went on well, with a bunch of wrestling, and I took it to a Dynojet tuner for the BAK and the PCIII (He actually used the "Perfect Installation"). He came up with the fault codes while the bike was on the Dyno getting a custom map. We called Baron's and Dynojet to see if they've ever seen those codes, and they're still researching this issue. I'm aware of the TPS recall, but I've never experienced the idle stalling described in the recall while riding the bike when it was stock. It's a 2004 for 3k miles.

The TPS number at idle was high - 19. I guess it should be 0. Check engine light comes on, codes as described above, then the idle falls of and stalls.

Anyone seen this before?? What did you do?? Did you manually adjust the TPS or could it be that this TPS is just bad??

You're some really smart guys - HELP!

The service manual shows:

Code 14: Faulty Intake air pressure sensor pipe system 1, a hose is detached causing the constant application of atmospheric pressure to the sensor, or the hose is clogged.

Code 26: Faulty Intake air pressure sensor pipe system 2, a hose is detached causing the constant application of atmospheric pressure to the sensor, or the hose is clogged.

Both indicate the motor will start (but not necessarily stay running).

Maybe somebody bumped a hose off?
