Hi guys,

I was reading Oliver's blog and I saw this interesting mod. He modified the stock front breaks with Yamaha OEM parts.
Do you know what parts he purchased? Here are the details:
Wow - This is truly a match made in heaven! The new radial master
cylinder coupled with a Galfer SS brake line, Galfer Wave rotors and
the OEM (none-radial) calipers work perfectly together. Hard stops from
80 mph take only 2 fingers.

I particulary liked the clear silicon hose that replaces the external break fluid reservoir:

If you have any part details about the hose mod also, please let me know.

From the above thread, the master cilinder from a 04-06 Warrior is also 16MM.
... suggest you revisit the articles. All Warrior frt MC's are 14mm bore

Re: Frankenstein's front brake master cylinder mod?

Thanks for the info, Alan. I was reading JP's post:
FWIW, the 04-06 radial master is also 16mm.

Would you recommend the silicon hose that replaces the external break fluid reservoir?
If yes, do you have any tips or links where I could read more about it?

My big problem is that I'm not very "technical terms" savy and that complicates a lot my search process because I do not know what exactly to search for. I'm working on this, as we speak...

That was in reference to an R1 master cylinder. The Warrior never had a radial setup. You can find these on 04-06 R1's.
