On the paint, it sounds like 2005 Black Cherry with Flames, but you should post a picture of the tank you are wanting to match. Not everyone knows all the model year colors. More might reply after seeing a picture.

On the S* exhaust end cap, some have removed it for hand sanding then coated it with black exhaust paint.

I do like the black exhaust-I don’t think it will hide the scratches well enough but not sure.
