Alright guys something odd happened today. Snagged one of those cheap quick release fuel caps and installed it today. Went to gas station to top her off. Went on a good spirted ride then went to top her off again. Popped the quick release cap back on put the key into ON and heard it prime then fuel started pouring out. Pushed her to the side and took off the quick release cap and turned the key again. Again fuel rose and started dumping out the top. All I could do is keep it on and let it finish dumping out what it needed to before I was able to ride it again. Could this be because these new chinese knockoff quick releases don't have a venting port??

The stock RSWarrior has a left-side dry break in the line from under the left front of the top fuel tank to the under-seat tank where the fuel pump lives. There is also an under-seat dry break in the vent line running up underneath the top fuel tank. These work in conjunction with the vent hole in the top tank filler hole. Assuming you did not mix-up the fuel and vent line circuit then it sounds like your new cap blocks venting but I do not recall that outcome being fuel pumping up out of the top tank filler hole. Usually it creates vacuum and inhibited fuel flow starves the motor.

Seems like your fuel pump is pumping gas back into the tank instead of pushing fuel toward the injectors. If your vent line is plugged, when you take your gas cap off you will hear a suction sound. Seems like your pump might be running backwards.:D:rolleyes:
