By the end of this weekend if all goes well..


I will be on the road again with a 2004\burgeny bike, with only 800 miles on it.
I sold the VTX 1800, good bike..but I like the sound and looks of the warrior much more.


The owner states he has a Baron air kit installed, with a power commander.

He said the battery died and that he lost the mapping on the commander.
Now an engine light comes on, when he starts the bike.

He thinks he may have to re-install the map again to solve this issue.


A few questions, so I can get on the road again.

Can download a map for the bike here?
That will work with the baron air kit with the stock exhaust?

The first thing I want to do with the bike is get the vance and hines bigshot pipes.
Small sissy bar, and mini floor boards..just to start.

Any other suggestions for cheap tweaks on this bike?

And where's the best place to buy on-line for my new, old bike?

First off, the Power Commander won't lose the map if it loses power. AND a map problem on the power commander won't cause a check engine light.

I'd be sure there isn't a problem with it before I picked it up. He needs to get the light code figured out.

welcome to the 4um.! I have an o2 with the V&H bigshots, Baron's stealth BAK, 31tooth front sproket, and PCIII.
There are maps to be had here on this site in the maps section.

I just purchased the MC Enterprises backrest, nicely designed and looking backrest!. Fact there is one in the classifieds, or at least there was one when I looked yesterday. This is NOT a small backrest. Mapam makes a nice small backrest.

phatperformance.com is the site lots of us are buying online from. Good folks, fair, very helpful.

Get the engine light fixed 1st!!!! and make sure you know what casused it!. Is it a pcIII serial or USB? you can tell by the type of connection on the unit. I can make get my map to you once you are ready.

I picked up a warrior that was closer to me..he had an extended warranty, with 2000 miles on the bike, 2005\black cherry. With V&H pipes and cobra fuel manager.

Now i need to spend some more money..on an air kit\sissy bar some risers..etc..
let the fun start..
