Hello all, I am heading up to Vegas for the bike fest and since our Warriors get a max of 120 to 130, does anyone know for sure if there is a gas pump between Kingman and Boulder City(Hover Dam)? Thanks, Roy in Tucson.

There are 10 gas stations in Boulder City Nevada, a few miles from the dam headed west toward Vegas.

That being said, condsider these two route options:

Best IMO: From Kingman go 30 miles to Laughlin. Stop for a visit or go straight thru on 163 west to 95 northand get gas in Searchlight (another 40 miles).Kingman is only70 miles fromSearchlight, 2 gas stations and food. Then its 40 miles from Searchlight to Boulder City (plus a couple to the dam). Gas up in Boulder City and you'll make Vegas no problem.

Just Okay IMO: Ride straight up the 93to the dam, then to Boulder City (80 miles)

BTW on Mapquest and others you can click on the GAS icon and it'll insert icons for known gas stops, or jump to gas prices for ending cities.

I have done the route from Vegas to Boulder City then to Kingman with no worries about fuel. Just make sure you gas up in Kingman. That is a great ride over the Dam.
