I just wanted to simply change my gear box oil, i cant get that fill bolt off, i tried using a washer, flat head, wd40, heat, this fuker wont come off, i destroyed the little gap. Anyone have any suggestions before i punch more holes in the wall lol much appreciated!

I made this to perfectly fit my Chrome Cover :)
You're not the 1st to have this difficulty. You can buy a replacement part from the dealer.

So i tried the vice grips, bent the whole washer, that bolt you made is really cool!
Not to add fuel to the fire, Petes02warrior, but you need a Grade 8 washer else get out the Sawzall ;)

When I went through same [email protected]
I tried the Bud Bottle opener..

When that Failed I went with the Chisel...
You've all rdy ruined the fill plug...

Use the Chisel , with small light hammer tap it loose....

And order the new part..

I reused the ruined one until the new one came in...

Thanks for all the replies guys, i gave up on it last night so going to try again tonight. Yeah I'm from canada so no 50 cent pieces maybe ill try a loonie or toonie. Definitely going to try the chisel!

Desertboy13 so i took a screw driver and tapped it a few times and it worked! Loosened it up, thanks so much everyone, love this forum!!!
