I have the same pipes and run them with the baffles in. By running them without anything in you lose back pressure, which results in the torque loss you are noticing[/emoticons/emotion-6.gif!]. I receive comments all the time about how good my bike sounds, even with the baffles in. And believe me, it is plenty loud[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]! Also, a custom map will make a difference as mentioned. Just make sure you have all your engine mods done first so you don't have to pay to have it done again.
